Not only since the provincial exhibition in 2003 has Schloss Reichenau enjoyed popularity as a venue. Other locations were also able to be established as a meeting place for culture and art.

For years, the KultURsprung festival has offered a selected program according to the motto "From the traditional to the modern", including high-quality artists and ensembles.

The Reichenau Festival counts as one of the top dates on the calendar for Austrian summer festivals. The performances take place at the Theater Reichenau .

The Musiksommer Reichenau, the "Internationale Sommerakademie Prag-Wien-Budapest", hosted by the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien (in collaboration with the universities of Vienna, Prague, and Budapest), is a music festival at the gates of Vienna which is borne by a large family of sponsors and patrons reaching beyond the borders of Austria with more than 250 highly gifted music students.
